Patrick trained our Labradoodle in his Board and Train program. When we dropped Wilson off he was wild, rambunctious, and destructive. Wilson can home a confident, calm, obedient, and secure dog. Patrick and Rebecca have spent extra time training us to be better dog owners, as well. Patrick's knowledge of dog behavior and skill to train is simply amazing. We are so grateful to have found Carolina Canine Consulting.read more
must say Patrick & Rebecca are such amazing trainers & good people in general. My frenchie was quite a clingy handful before they trained him. After 3 weeks of training he became another dog and now actually listens and isn't as possessive over me anymore. So thankful to have found such amazing people to work with Bruce Wayne. Thank you so much for everything!!!read more
I'm so beyond thankful for Carolina Canine Consulting. I got my 1.5 year old australian shepherd 6 months ago, and while he is mostly a good dog, he had pretty free reign of his previous home so he had some learned behaviors that were hard to correct (pulling on the leash to other dogs, jumping, not listening consistently) and some behaviors that were just him being a herding dog (jumping at bikers/runners). It got to the point where I wasn't taking him on walks because I was getting blisters from having to hold him back and was always on alert for anything that might set him off. Not seeing him for two weeks was really hard, but I took him on a walk today after getting him back over the weekend and the difference is incredible. Patrick and Rebekah were always available for questions, made sure I was following what they were saying, helped me problem solve, and demonstrated everything I needed to know. They were wonderful with the practice sessions after to make sure that I was able to carry things over once they weren't there. I loved having videos of him working while he was gone. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on more training, as we had already done training elsewhere and he wasn't a bad dog, but I'm so happy I did. Thank you so much for everything you did for us and loving my sweet boy! And to Chelsey Marie for the referral! Can't wait to enjoy so many more relaxed walks with him!read more
We've been so happy with the results of the board & train program. We can enjoy our 5 y/o lab terrier mix so much more now that she listens and doesn't dart out the door. Thank you!!

My vizsla developed resource guarding behaviors and Patrick and his team are extremely experienced with challenging cases like his. Carolina Canine Consulting has been extremely effective teaching self control techniques and helping us learn how to recognize and manage scenarios in which he is vulnerable to acting out. Patrick has an effective coaching technique for both myself and my kids. He is responsive to ongoing questions and genuinely cares about our family and our dog. As a new dog Mom, I am extremely grateful for he and his team’s help!read more

A great training program! His love of dogs and training shows in every aspect of his work. His top concern is the well being of the dog and making sure the handler learns the necessary skills to work with their dog effectively. They also have excellent follow up. I have been very pleased with our results.read more
I could not say enough about Patrick and Rebekah. We did their 2 week board and train with our sweet but wild Labrador puppies, Huckleberry and Atticus. They were a handful. They thought everywhere was the dog park. Even the vets office. They grew so fast and suddenly were almost 90 pounds a piece and could easily drag us wherever they desired to go. I let them in one morning from playing in the yard only to find they had torn another screen on the porch. I was checking it out and when I turned around Atticus had my work shoe and was running around with it. I managed to get it and when I turned I spotted Huckleberry with the toaster and when I grabbed that I turned and found Atticus had taken that time to lick the butter stick that I had gotten out to let it soften. I knew we needed help. Patrick picked them up a week later and I worried that they would just be too much. Or that we would mess them up. Since they’ve been home they have been changed boys. I mean they are still silly and puppies. And we work with them practicing all the time but now we can take them with us knowing they won’t embarrass us in public. They can come. They can walk on a leash and stay close. They are different dogs. Sometimes I still am blown away. I can not wait to see what he can help us learn in the future. We are really just getting started with these boys. They are hanging with Patrick this weekend while we are out of town getting more practice with the pros. Thank you Patrick and Rebekah. We owe you so much more than we could ever afford to repay.read more

I just had the ultimate compliment today. Stayed on beach off leash with my 18 month old goldendoodle and was told by several that he was the best behaved dog they had seen.
